nasal odor right side

so i had what felt like a head cold for a few days...and now my RIGHT nostril is stuffed it feels like ....but it loosens for me to blow it every 20 min. or so. the problem is this: only the right side is clogging, and when i blow it the discharge is yellow...and more concerning and baffling to me is...it smells soooo foul???? I have pain on the right side of mmy nose, and in between m eyebrows....please tell me whats wrong with me....it smells terrible.....but if i blow the left side (very rarely do i have too) its clear and odor free?????? What is this???

Sounds like an acute sinus infection. They usually go away on their own, but if not, go to a doctor. Don't blow your nose very hard, or it can go into your ear.

thanku so much for the response. i have been blowing hard...so thanks for the tip....what will happen if it goes in the ear though???
