not sure if i need to see a doctor

I cant really afford to go to the doctor unless it is a major problem but i had strep last week and to pennicillen for it and it went away but now i have a slight burning feeling in my chest that at times feels like im breathing in ice cold air, i smoke which i know dont help. I have a fever and a headache also. the girl at work gave me the strep and also got bronchitis at the same time that i was just told is turning into pneumonia and i was wondering is it possible that i caught not only her strep but her bronchitis as well and is it bad enough that i should see a doctor.
