Following recovery from a bad head cold in late January, I have had a persistant catch in my throat, mid center. When I take a deep breath, there is also a tightness or tension at the base of the cord on the right side of my neck. The catch doesn't cause a cough but is always there. Have been to my doctor & was treated for rhinitis. The rhinitis cleared up, but not the throat irritation. Had a second visit and the doctor prescribed flovent. I inhaled one dose which created more irrititation so I have not continued. Am about to make an appointment with an ENT. I am on a daily dose of omeprozole for control of reflux and have been for several years.
