phlem production, pain in middle back and right side

Back on the 29 8 2002 I wrote in and had some helpful information but my condition has not improved.

Are there any lung infections, TB ect that dont show up on a CT scan? Or  could it be that when I feel the ache, and phlem is produced, (which I have to clear by coughing) that it is just a very long term reaction by the lungs trying to  clear out a lot of  building rubble dust to which I had a big single exposure some time back?

Asthma and chronic bronchitis can cause cough and phlegm and would not show up on a high resolution CT scan.  I would be reluctant to attribute your symptoms to a distant exposure to "rubble dust", with a normal CT scan.
