my daughter ,4 year old, is suffering with cough ,difficulty in brething and fever for the past 3 days.I have consulted doctor. He told it's case of RIGHT MIDDLE LOBE PNEMUNITIS and advised amoxicillin and pottasium clavonic tablets.
This pneumonitis is it permanently curable? Kindly inform me
"Pneumonitis (noo-moe-NIE-tis) is a general term that refers to inflammation of lung tissue. Although pneumonia is technically a type of pneumonitis because the infection causes inflammation, most doctors are referring to other causes of lung inflammation when they use the term "pneumonitis.""
Taken from the Mayo clinic webisite. I would say since your Dr. prescribed antibiotics they feel as though it's the result of a bacterial infection, but that' s my opinion, I'm not an expert.
