possible mold inhalation

by Vic004, Jul 03, 2008 11:07AM
yesterday I cleaned mold that came from an old roof leak in a laundry room. One wall in the laundry room had mold down the walls. There was quite a bit of mold.  I sprayed it with bleach then painted it with a mixture from the paint store of paint and kilz. It was very hard to deal with the bleach smell and my lungs felt burnt afterward. Later that day a family member asked me if I wore a mask because the mold could get into my lungs and cause future problems. I am really worried now that I didnt protect myself. Is there anything I can do now to stop a potential problem from occurring? Do I need to be concerned about exposure that I may have caused myself? Very stupid of me not to think of the danger before I cleaned. I was assuming the bleach would kill it on contact.
