post pneumonia pain with deep inhalation

by crcwhite, Aug 24, 2008 10:46AM
I have sharp pain on right side of lung area both lower lobe and middle lobe with deep inhalation. Pneumonia was 5 months ago. There is scarring or atelectatic bands and possible small airway disease shown on CT. 3mm peripheral nodule in left lower lobe is indeterminate. Why does it still hurt and is there anything to be done to alleviate this condition and is it something which needs further follow up?

This discussion is related to Atelectatic Bands.
