ptb both upper lobes

good evening doctors..My Xray result was PTB both on upperlobes.I was reading the symptoms of ptb I dont have any of it.What would I do?Hope you can help me.Thank you.

hello doctors...ngkaroon po ako ng ptb tpos q na po ung 6months medication ng nagpaxray po aq ang resulta ptb,both upper lobes.anu po ba ibig sabhin niyan?mgtatake pa po ba ulit aq ng pagtake ng medisine?pwede pa po ba mgng ok ang medical certificate q para mkapgtrabho po aq?thank you po.god bless!

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Understand your predicament. Tuberculosis, typically affects the upper lobes, mainly the apex of the lungs. It does produce typical imaging patterns also. This is again correlated with blood tests like ESR and skin test PPD. It may not cause typical symptoms.
                  
Tuberculosis can cause an evening rise of temperature and increased sweating. This also causes a loss of appetite; as such this is accompanied by weight loss. So, record your temperatures, on a two hourly basis to detect an evening rise of temperature.                  
Discuss these options with your consulting doctor.
