I have a 2 1/2 year old with chronic cough for about 4 weeks now. None of the cough medicines the doctors have prescribed are working. Benedryl isn't helping (I thought it might be allergies). His pediatrician is giving me some "theory" that the antibiotics has killed the cillia in his resp tract causing him to be getting all this "trash" in his lungs causing the coughing. Not even the BrovexBrovex Brovex adt Brovex ct Brovex hc Brovex pd Brovex peb Brovex peb dm Brovex psb Brovex psb dm Brovex pse Brovex pse dm is relieving his cough. Sometimes it gets so bad he is gagging. I just wish someone could figure out what is causing all this so we can find some solutions.
If the regularRegular insulin pediatrician can't figure it out, maybe it is time to see a specialist to get another point of view. I hope that you find answers soon...Sunny
