sarcoidosis

i have had various health problems for 1 1/2 years.Symptoms range from pain (mainly in chest, arms, jaw, tongue),muscle spasms and cramp feelingsr(even in my chest),a few episodes of shorness of breath, palpitations, various tingling sensations, feet sometimes sore to walk on,arm muscles sore to move, but not touch and sometimes arm and chest muscles feel weak,My main symptom is pain and back in the spring I had a lymph node removed out of neck that wouldn't go away, but it turned out to be a granuloma.I was told for a while I had fybromyalgia, but was then told by a rheumatologist that i could not be diagnosed with that because I don't have any tender points.1 year ago i had a stress test to check out my heart which came back fine.I'm fearful of heart problems because i have chest pain and some times palpitations.6 mo. ago i had a holter monitor and a ultra sound of my heart which showed nothing other than a benign irregular heart beat.In october I had a cat scan of my chest which showed some slightly enlarged lymph nodes under my breast bone.I had asked my doctor about formaldehyde poisoning because I had moved into a newly built house shortly before getting sick.I was sent to a pulmonologist to check for formaldehyde poisoning, but instead he is treating me on prednisone and anti-biotics for sarcoidosis and I have to have another cat scan on the 28th,but can't get back into see the pulmonologist until january 17th.Could all my symptoms be caused by sarcoidosis or should I  seek relief from my pain from somewhere else and just let the pulmonologist handle the possible sarsoidosis

Sarcoidosis can involve many organs and can cause muscle and joint pain but pain, to the degree described, is rather unusual. I would be reluctant to attribute all the symptoms described, to the sarcoidosis, unless there is objective evidence of multi-system involvement with sarcoidosis.
Please continue to work with your doctors, including your pulmonologist, to diagnose the cause and treat your multiple pains.
