sinus infection, ear pressure, lump in throat

by airwaves, Aug 06, 2007 08:39PM
Two months ago I started experiencing ear popping at the slightest elevations.  Didn't bother me, but just three days ago my sinuses, face and right ear began aching, all happening on the right side of my face.  The ear thing is like a pressure and sometimes a dull ache.  Also, when I swallow, it feels like there is a bit of food or something stuck there in the right side of my throat.  Went to the ENT, he looked up my right nostril and saw inflammation, indicating a sinus infection.  He prescribed a 5-day dose of Azithromycin and also a cortizone called Methylprednisoline.  My question is...has anyone experienced the exact same symptoms, right down to the throat thing?  And what did you do to make it go away?
