sinus surgery problems

hi
i had setoplasty, fess sinus surgery and grommets done 6 weeks ago, been back to the ENT today and he said that he  is not happy with the right side of my nose after septoplasty . i have a large lump inside the nostril and can breath very well out of the right side.
he said the cartlidge had moved back (worse than before) and that i should have surgery only on the right side to correct this.
im worried that if it has gone wrong once then whats to stop it going wrong again. i had septoplasty due to sinusitus, if i dont get it done will my sinusitus get worse??
im not sure if im going to have the surgery done again, i didnt feel to good after the last one and im worried that things may get even worse.
also the grommet in my right ear has become blocked he wants to re do this, ive had an ear infection which turned out to be a fungal infection, cold my sinus infections also be fungal?
also ive been getting bad headaches at thebridge of my nose and in the frotal sinuses, is this normal after surgery??and im still feeling very hot and feverish and ofter feel like im burning up, the heat is only felt in my head and facce, to me this sounds like infection but after 6 weeks of antibiotics shouldnt this be gone?? my doc says that this is normal after surgery. but  we will do tests in 2 weels time after the ea inection has cleared, i think he wants to see if that is causing the heat.
after 6 weeks i was hoping i would be ok, but i quess im not gonna be one of the lucky ones!!

You may need to have further surgery, but you should seek a second opinion from another ENT specialist.  You should ask why the septoplasty failed and the likelihood of it failing the second time as well.  If uncorrected, yes your sinuses could get worse.  You should ask if the fungal ear infection is in the external or middle ear – since there is a big difference in seriousness and need for anti-fungal therapy.  And, yes, sinuses can be infected by fungi.

Getting bad headaches and feeling hot and feverish, especially if your measured temperature is elevated, is not what one should expect 6 weeks after surgery and after 6 weeks of antibiotics.  If the ear infection has not cleared after 6 weeks of therapy, it is unlikely to clear in another 2 weeks.  You need to be re-examined and have mucus from your nose, sinuses and ear cultured for bacteria and fungi.  You may have to have surgery, just to facilitate drainage.  I would have another doctor examine my nose and sinuses.
