sore throat

may 30th i started getting a mild sore throat, I went to the Dr because I have a new Granddaughter and wanted to see and hold her. They prescribed an antibiotic and i felt better for a couple days. 10 days later i went back and received a shot in the hip and another prescription to take for 7 days. It is now June 18, and i still have a sore throat but not as severe as before. I recently found some mold in the house, could this be the problem? Would an allergy cause this to be happening even with antibiotics?
