thick mucus

Hi, i've also been suffering with thick mucus that's hard to clear from my throat for about 9 months. my nose is very dry and I'm tired of this ruining my life. Help me please! I've also been to doctors and was treated for post nasel drip, and used many over the counter meds but Nothing Works!!! Do I have to suffer like this till the very end? please help me.

I have had this problem for 5 years. coughing with mucus, sinus infections, ear problems etc. I've been on and off of antibiotics, had sinus surgery, xrays, ct scans, etc.

I just found a doctor that says I probably have GERD and I'm being treated with Zegerid. I also have to alter my diet, stop eating 3 hours before bedtime, and other changes.

I hope this works!  

Maybe your problems are related to GERD.
