I AM DEALING WITH THIS FUNKY ODOR FOR 8 YEARS NOW. PRIOR THAT I WAS USING OTC AFRIN SPRAY EVERYDAY BECAUSE ALLERGY TO BREATH BETTER. 2 SURGERIES, ANTIBIOTICS. DAILY NASAL WASH,...NOTHING HELPS. IT IS THE MOST EMBARASSING THING EVER. PEOPLE TALK ABOUT DIRTY PEOPLE WHO DON'T TAKE SHOWER WHENEVER I AM AROUND. THIS AFFECTS MY PRIVATE AND SOCIAL LIFE. I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. THE ENT I'VE SEEN CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS. I AM ABOUT TO GO INSANE.PLEAAAAAASE SOMEONE HELP ME......
To clear the throat and lungs and nostrils, do this pranayam for 20 minutes, twice a day. Avoid cold drinks and drink warm water. Let me know how you get on after 4 weeks.
Build up your timing gradually.If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Kapalbhati pranayam -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 5 to 15 minutes twice a day. Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.
