water up my nose feeling when bending over

I had a cold for about two weeks which consisted of a stuffy nose, sore throat and a cough.  Now I am over the cold but every night i get a sore throat which disappears in the morning.  My ongoing problem now after the cold is that every time I bend over my nose feels like i have water up it.  A burning sensation which makes my eyes water.  I feel fine otherwise except for the sore throat at night which disappears.  What could this be.  I feel stupid to go to the doctor when I feel perfectly fine otherwise.  Any information would be helpful.

Most likely there is still inflammation or possibly even a continued infection in one or more of your sinuses.  This is common after a viral infection of the upper airways.  If it persists  or gets worse over the next several days, you may need to speak with your physician about a possible antibiotic.  If it is simply an inflammation that is the result of the cold, it should slowly get better on its own.
