what are radiation pnuemitis lasting effects?

I finished radiation for stage 1 breast cancer in Aug and by the end of Sept I was being treated for radiation pnuemenitis. 60 mg of predinisone gradually decreased over 10 weeks.  My oxygyn level was good - mid 90's but considering I live in Denver that seemed acceptable.  6 weeks later I was lower and put on an inhaled steriod twice a day. I don.t feel any inprovement.  Can I expect any improvement with time?  Is there anything else that I should ask my doctor to consider for treatment?
