what are the causes of Cushings; Disease?

I have a patient with Cushings' Disease; it is a failure of the endocrine system, regulating weight, and  many other functions of the endocrine system.This is supposed to be an inherited disease,but neither side of patient's family ever had,or has, Cushing's disease.The patient cannot regulate lipid system,has Lipodema.Patient was 6 ft. but has lost much height due to bone loss.The patient gets up to 700 or even 800 lbs. without any over eating.Thru under-eating, patient is down to 500 lbs., but is constantly hungry.Low calorie diets make the diabetes much worse. patient has to take thyroid medication,and has diabetes,COPD,and heart problems, and must use a mask-and-oxygon at night, to breathe----as well as Lipodema.Patient has one leg,which is so bad with lipodema, she cannot walk much; too much walking results in serious infection of the leg.Patient must have special bed,which raises up at the foot.Patient must "wrap" leg tightly, in special elastic bandages, several times a day, to reduce water weight in leg.Patient is becoming increasingly tired, and must sleep about 12 hrs. a night. In weather out side, that is too hot, or too cold, about 30 degtees or lower,, patient cannot breathe outside her apartment. ---Her lungs fail.Patient was exposed closely to unwrapped fiber-glass insulation, as a child, when she was ordered to carry amts. of unsafe fiber-glass insulation back and forth, and reports getting it embedded in hands and fingers.---her brother also did this, but has no Cushings' Disease. Patient was submitted to physical abuse as a child, and teen-ager, even in the head and neck.No doctor ever examined her.Patient also had sexual abuse by a doctor,as a child, and has PTSD.--THIS WAS NEVER REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES. --or to another doctor.Patient had extreme physical and mental abuse amd beatings, by father, as a child and teen-ager; this was never reported.The onset of true Cushings' Disease began as an adult, when patient could not obtain regular healthy food, and was forced to consume very cheap, unhealthy junk food.However, patient was originally 6 ft. and large, and heavy,to start with.But uncontrolled Cushings Disease,with  huge weight gain, began with a diet of cheap junk food, and near starvation diet. But the patient was always 6 ft. and very large as an adult.Onset of Cushings' Disease was in true onset  with reliance on cheap junk food and near starvation diet. Patient has all classic symptoms of Lipodema.

We are trying to ascertain the true reason for Cushings'  Disease, as there is no inherited disease of this, in either side of family.Also, the patient's height and weight are not seen in either side of her family, or parents. These are specific symptoms.
