You need to have this checked out by your family physician chippered. A lymphnode shouldnt stay swollen and hard for longer than a week when its due to bacterial or viral causes,, so it could be much more seriouse and testing needs to be done to determine the cause if the swelling is prolonged. It could be as simple as cat scratch fever,, but some more seriouse problems can be caught in their earliest stages when a lymph gland swells and it's checked out quickly, making it much more likely to be resolved. NEVER let a lymph gland go unchecked if it is swollen and hard for longer than six weeks,,, it could be a matter of life and death. You may just have a simple low grade infection draining into the gland,, but only a doctor can be sure.
