knee pain

Hi
I have a kinda knee join pain. I am getting dull knee join pain after a long walk or cycling.
I was walking 5 km a day during the college time.
My doctor said that s why i got this pain.
I am a good walker. now a days i dont walk like before.
I am so confused. Pls help me.

Well, without an evaluation it would be difficult to identify the cause of knee pain in your case. Possibilities that may need to be considered include chondromalacia, tendonitis, bursitis, fractures, patellar dislocation, injuries to the internal knee ligaments/ menisci, infections/ inflammations, arthritis, cyst formation, bone growths/ tumours, nerve injuries etc; just to name a few. I would suggest consulting an orthopedician for an evaluation and appropriate management.
