Hello. Years ago, I had a skin-tag projection in my
noseNose fracture. I could see this from the
outside and actually removed the skin myself. I know this was terrible to do, but blame
it on being young and careless at the time. Well, I constantly have allergies, and had a
sinus bug a few weeks ago. I typically feel like I have a stuffy
noseNose fracture, or achy
noseNose fracture and
have noticed this more often than
normalNormal saline flush on the left
nostrilNostril nasal decongestant-the same area where the old
skin thing was. Well, since clearing my
noseNose fracture hasn't really helped much, I decided to
manually feel into my nasal area to see if I had a scab or something going on. Right away
I did remove a bit of dry flat mucous, but didn't feel a scab. However, I felt a fleshy
area or lump at the top of my nasal. Pressing down on my nose, actually feels sore to the
touch because of this growth. I am really worried and am 6 weeks pregnant. Is this normal
or should I go to the ENT immediately. I keep thinking the worst, and wonder if they
could even do anything at this point. Could one possibly have a wart or something benign
in this region? It feels fleshy, hard like a small lump. I tried looking at it with a
mirror, but wasn't sure if I could see anything. One side of my nose looked darker, but I
can't tell if it was just the lighting in the house. Also, an ENT did check my nose 2 yrs
ago and didn't see anything out of the norm, but I think things can grow rapidly at any
time. Also, if it could be benign, is there anything over the counter I can try before
going to the ENT to see if could be cleared? Thanks."
If this little scab does not go away, I would recommend that the doctor culture to make sure that it is not a staph infection. If that is the case, you would need different antibiotics for this area.
I am very sorry that you lost the pregnancy. There are always reasons for everything we do in life and hopefully there was a good reason for this.
I hope this helps and good luck to you.
