When to have revision rhinoplasty

by twotracy, Feb 15, 2009 02:00AM
I have consulted a couple of other surgeons about my recent nose job (Dec 31 2008) and they agree that the porous implant that was put on my bridge does not fit my face.  It is too narrow, shifted to the right and does not match my ethnicity.   However, two out of the 3 said to wait a  year before removing the implants, and the 3rd doctor said since all the implants will have to be removed and new natural implants put in that it is okay to have the revision rhinoplasty within 3-5 months after the initial surgery.  Is it too soon?  Should I continue to seek other opinions?  I would like to remove this implants now, but I also want to make sure that the tip of my nose can be changed for the better too and I didn't know if 3-5 months would be too soon for that. Would I get a better result if I waited longer or would it be okay if I planned to get the revision done in June or July of this year?   Thank you for your help.
