I have splotchy redness on my uvula and what feels like 1-3 very small bumps in the center of the redness, non painful and no itching, not getting bigger or worse, soft to the touch of my tongue, but little minute bumps, its been four weeks now and its not really going away, I think it arrived after giving a male friend oral sex four weeks ago, but i cant be sure, the redness appears to be fading into a light pink but the bumps are still there in the center of the redness, the splotchness of the redness is keeping the same pattern but very very very slowly seems to be fading, perfectly flesh colored pink, negative for all stds including hiv and HSV1-2, 27 years old...
. My doctor said it didn't appear to be warts and they are rare in the mouth caused its constantly shedding skin and it unlikely to contract. Is this true?
2. I spoke with 2 other STD specialist on medhelp who said its SO rare to have oral hpv warts and are usually only prevalent in those with low immune systems. Same description i gave you, and they were convinced that it is Definetly NOT oral warts.
4.does this sound like warts? the other docs said NO literally with CAP locks...
5. What are the chances of actually developing oral warts?
6. Is redness surrounding small bumps an indication of warts?
7. Do you know about oral warts and descriptions?
8. And my big question is this, how deep do oral warts go, this feels like a bump underneath my skin, Vs just the top layer skin being bumpy i guess, i tried sort of moving the skin with a tooth pick and it moves, so i dont think the skin is attached, to lets say, the meat of the uvula below the skin , does that make sense, when i touch it with my tongue the skin above the bump can move but the bump stays below. So i was wondering if this sounds like something a wart would do. ex. oral specifically. Hope my description helps,
