My husband and I have been together for 12 years. We married in 2003, had our first son in 2004. In 2010 I started feeling things and assumed he had strayed. I went in for "a full battery" after complaining of pain. They ran everything but trich. Which by the way I had never heard of. We became pregnant again in 2011. Again paps showed a shift in flora, but no concern on screening tests. (Apparently which dont include trich unless you are having symptoms). Here we are last year and I came at my husband ready to punch him in the junk because I know I havent done anything to put us here, and hes wondering why im the only one having symptoms. But we have beat this conversation to death and we both swear we have honored this marriage. Given the practice of both of our exes I acknowledge that it is possible for things to fly under the radar. The problem is now that intercourse is painful and I have to be concerned about cancer. Its a very poorly handled issue. Im sure this situation has ruined more than one marriage.
Most of the time trich is not tested for. And from what the Dr's say on this site is someone could have it for years and never know it. In rare cases it can be picked up through a towel at a gym or places like that.
Based on what you said you have not tested for it, my wife has never tested for it. It's not a very common test to have. So I so no reason to think that she might have cheated based on the above.
