All Test Negative - Pain still persist. New disease?

Had unprotected sex 3 months ago. from what i can remember i developed a pain in the tip of my penis 24-72 hours after intercourse. the first few nights were intense pain, but now it is moderately dull, sharp at some times, but constant every single day pain in only tip of penis. i have had chlamydia about a year prior and was treated. this pain i am experiencing is similar to chlamydia, just less painful, and does not burn when peeing. No penile discharge. No sores. Nothing visual that i can see. As time progresses it feels as if i now have constant stomach pains which i can only associate to the untreatment of this infection i have. disease specialist checks lymp nodes in groin and says they feel normal. i had a 2 std urinalysis and UTI test at planned parent hood. they also gave me  a single does of Zithromax. chlamydia, ghonnorea, syphilis, hiv all test results negative. pain still persist. i go to a disease specialist. he gives me a swab for chlamydia and other associated bateriums. test come back negative. pain still persist. doctor prescribes anxiety medication telling me its all in my head.....tells me its impossible to have contracted an std with an incubation period of 24-72 hours. most would take 5-7 days before you experience pain. he also said the first dose of Zithromax should have cured any NGU infections. I am starting to believe i either have an uncommonly tested disease, disease from another country or possibly a undiscovered disease? i mentioned this to the disease specialist and he said all std's are the same across all countries and there havent been any newly diseases discovered. i have done some personal research and have been trying to figure out if there are other STD's not commonly tested for that are have similarities to my symptoms. i have done some reading and have heard that Mycoplasma Genitalium is a newly discovered STD, not commonly tested for, has recently surpassed Syphilis, and has NGU similar symptoms.  Any help would be appreciated. thanks

mycoplasm is not remotely new. it's been around for ages, we just never bothered to test for it regularly until a few years ago. we don't even consider it a std.

you don't have some sort of brand spanking new std that medicine doesn't know about yet!!!

At this point you need to follow up on this with an urologist for better evaluation of your continuing symptoms.  you also probably want to google chronic pelvic pain syndrome ( or look for the posts on it HHH has made in the past - most of them are pretty good ).  also be sure to avoid caffeine and spicy foods since sometimes they contribute to pain like this too.

i will and cannot accept the fact this is all in my head......i tried....and it didnt work.....this is nuts??  there must be a better scientific and medical explanation than the pain persisting due to me being crazy in the head.......

Did u ever find out what caused ur symptoms

Yes I don't think it is a STD based on tests and symptoms. Trust me I have seen this happen again and again. People think something must be wrong because they feel something but they don't have anything and when they come to accept it the pain goes away. Not saying you don't have something but don't think this is a STD.

definately sounds like an STD......not sure which one  would cause your symptoms.....the only thing i find interesting is alot of people seem to suffer from alike symptoms and have the same problem as i do: All Test Results Negative, pain still persist. unless the god damn doc doesnt know a god damn thing about STD testing, i'd say weve probably contracted an uncommon, potentially new, untested for STD

what do you mean you dont think its an STD based on testing and symptoms?>??   i never had a problem till i had intercourse. it only makes sense the pain i am experiencing is a direct consequence of an STD...im pretty sure i either have something uncommon or new....your penis just doesnt hurt for no reason..any doctor who tells me its all in my head or physical trauma needs a credential check.....

Its been almost 8 months since my protected incident with a stripper and i am still having issues to this day. I'm sick of people not believing me or saying its stress, I've had redness, pain and discomfort on the penis, blurred vision, burning of the eyes, pain in the butt and rectum, swollen lymph nodes, memory loss, itchy scalp and found little insect bite bumps on there also. I want my life back this has been going on for too long. Everything has come back negative except an IgM herpes test, IgG is always negative. What else could it be?

MG is not tested for, so you could request that, but I don't think this is a STD based on testing and symptoms.
