Always Burning

Right before new years I had unprotected sex with a girl I didn't know.  Soon after, I began burning on penis and hasn't stopped all but 2 weeks during the last 7 months.  The burning is in different parts of my penis but mostly on the outer skin.  It's constantly at the tip and frequently around my circumcision scars.  Sometimes its at the lower base of my penis.  I don't know if the burning is from getting something from the girl or from masturbation.  I've been tested for bacterial std's 3 times now and all the tests have come back negative, I've also been on 5 different bacterial infections drugs.  I don't know all of the names but the first was doxycycline, the 2nd 2 were given as a one dose thing to clear up chlymedia or ghonerhea, and the 4 and 5th were supposed to clear up any bacterial infections that wouldn't show up in a culture.  Nothing has worked.

The problem does get worse with a lot of friction.  I've read that it may be a fungul infection and havne't tried any anti-fungul cream but am planning on it (something with clotrimazole in it).  I'm thinking (really hoping) that my problems are from trauma vs anything else std-like.

I don't have any physical signs of herpes or chlymedia (other than burning)... I want to know if there are blood tests to look for any viruses or anything else???

I can't seem to figure this out and I don't want to surprise any future sex partners with something.

Also, I have kept in contact with the girl and she has not had any symptoms and has had sex with others and swears up and down she nor them have ever said anything about any issues.

I'm pretty lost, and scared, to say the least.

My Dr was planning to send me to a Urologist but I'm never in town to see one which has also made tx more prolonged, not good I know.

"digital exam sounds better than it is lol."

HAHA  no kidding.  It sounds like its some high tech test, doesn't it?

Digital in this case means fingers, as in digit.

could also be your prostate generally a urologist will doa  digital exam sounds better than it is lol.  They will be able to see if your prostate is inflamed or boggy.  if so generally they do not bother doing a specimen test of your prostatic fluids or semen no need to look at urine as you already have had negatives for all other stds unless you on an outside chance have a UTI highly unlikely.  They prescribe long doses of antibitoics that are whats called broad spectrum some examples are Bactrim, ceftriaxone gentamicin.  The alst two are shots.  Broad spectrum means they are effective at killing many bacterial forms as opposed to other antibiotics that are very specifically targeted or active against certain offenders.  I think if you took the time you would be on your way you can see a urologist anywhere really even when traveling.  i am guessing this is your problem it is commonly referred to as prostatitis.

I was thinking the same as AJ on this maybe an allergy to something, the difficulty there is finding what it could be,you should see a Specialist as well though, until then try to think of anything different you have used over the past weeks or months, which could be any number of things from hand washing preparations to what you wash your clothes in that could possibly contain something you are having an allergic reaction to,but do please also see a Urologist who can look more in depth at it all for you and rule out any underlying problem ....

It doesn't sound like an STD besides you have taken medications that would have cleared up those and I haven't ever heard of Herpes causing symptoms that persist non stop for  6months.

I hope it gets resolved soon for you

You really need to make time to follow up with a urologist.  Your health needs to be a priority.

Perhaps its an allergic reaction to something, perhaps its fungal.  Whatever the case, you need to be checked out.  As you know, waiting this long isn't a good idea.
