Amoxicillin as preventive measure

Hello Doctor,
I have a couple of dumb questions about Amoxicillin.
1) I know that Amoxicillin 4x500 mg is presribed for preventing infection.
Does it make sense to take Amoxicillin 4x500 mg before giving/taking oral sex as a preventive measure?
2) I read that Amoxicillin does not kill infection, but rather prevents it from growing. Yet it is used to treat gonnorea.
Does it mean that something else must be used after using Amoxicillin?

azithromycin alone is not recommended to treat gonorrhea either.  It's resistant to almost everything except ceftriaxone.

Amoxicillin is not used to treat STIs such as gonorrhea or chlamydia. Azithromycin or Zithromax is most commonly used for treatment of these infections. Typically 2g which is equivalent to 2, 000mg. Your best preventive measure is using a condom

Let me assure you I'm not that young anymore, and I have much wider experience in the discussed area then both of you. :)
I actually hoped to get a feedback from a real doctor, as other posterd did. not from amateurs that tell me very well known facts.
If you do not have answers on the specific questions, please, do not bother. Answers like "NO" are not the answers. :)  
I hope I will have a feedback from a professional.

the rates of antibiotic resistance are incredibly high and you should never, EVER take them needlessly like you are asking about. your health is not worth it!!

protected oral sex is always in your best interest. hpv, sphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and herpes are the risks from oral sex - none of those are effectively treated with amoxicillin so you are wasting your time and risking your health by doing what you have asked about.

be smart about your sex life!!!

It is not recommended to take medication unless given to you by a Dr. By doing this it may help something along the path to becoming resistant to antibiotics.
