Bald patch after blowjob? Syphilis?

Hi all, I’m having severe anxiety here. Have a doctors appointment in two days but hoping you can shed some light. I received a blowjob from a man I don’t really know about 4 1/2 weeks ago. He sucked me and there was not reciprocation.

A week after the exposure I developed a lump above my jawline. A few days ago (around the 4 week mark) I noticed a small bald batch in my beard right near the jaw lump. Could this be syphilis related? I have been touching that area frequently since the lump developed but not sure if that could have caused the bald spot either.

I have heard hair loss is a sign of secondary syphilis but would it show up within 4 week without any other symptoms? Please help thank you!

Hi since syphilis is contracted at point of contact with a syphilis chancre and you received oral sex your mouth area would not be related to the act. your penis shaft area would and since having oral syphilis is rare i really doubt he had it anyway oral.

Thank you! So it’s safe to say that the odds are pretty low if the bald patch is the only symptom I’m concerned about now? It’s small, maybe dime sized in my beard. Nothing visible on my penis. Who knows, it could be related to the emotional stress I have been under since this happened.
