Can an std test show negative after 1 dose 500mg of amoxicillin?

I had oral, vaginal and some anal play sex 3 weeks ago. A week and a half ago my urethra started itching, then a few days later it started burning when I was urinating. I went to a lab and had an std test done for chlamydia and gonorrhea only. It came back negative. It was a urine test. Then I called a doctor and he prescribed me 500mg Amoxicillin 3 times a day for 10 days. I went in again to get tested for all stds a day later but I had already taken 1 pill of amoxicillin. The urine test came back negative again and the blood test is not done testing yet. I am still having the same symptoms with little improvement 3 days on amoxicillin.

I am worried that the first test may have been bad because I urinated quite a bit in the cup and when I went in the 2nd time, the nurse told me that the urine needed to be concentrated, only a very small amount in the cup, which I did the 2nd time. Any advice would help here. I am very worried and I do not have a regular doctor established since I just moved recently.

One final note, the girl I slept with has no symptoms and says she was tested with all clear results fairly recently.

With an std there would be a white puss discharge which is the true sign of an infection. Try milking your penis in the morning before urinating so see if some come out. On a side note urethrea itching is a symptom of Chlamydia.
