Could this be an STD?

I had sex with a new partner (unprotected), and I had a gamut of flu symptoms follow:

The day after I woke up feeling a little under the weather.  I went for a run, and noticed I was wheezing heavily.

2 days later, I woke up with an intense headache.  Hours later, my feet became EXTREMELY cold, and the rest of my body was cold as well.  I started having aching pains in my legs and feet.  A fever came on board that hit around 100.5.

I was knocked out for days, but all of those symptoms subsided as I was put on amoxicillin for 10 days.

Still, I'm having random pains throughout my body, joint pains and aches, and a feeling tiredness.  I'm currently on Augmentin 875mg trying to battle this, but I'm on my 11th day, and am not improving much.

Yes, I am -- actually several doctors.  I'm going through a difficult time, trying to put together the pieces of my puzzle, and I'm exploring every idea.

I've had tons of blood work done, and nothing came up abnormal.  I'm currently on a double 10-day cycle of Augmentin 875 to help with my chronic sinus infection as well.

But, I'm still suffering from body aches and pain, as well as "brain fog."

It's tough.  Thanks for your response.

Are you being treated by a doctor?  And if you are, what did the doctor say was wrong? This seems to simply be the flu and is definitely not likely to be any std.  No std will give you symptoms less than 48 hours after exposure.  No symptoms of std show the very next day.
