Could this be herpes?

So, I had a sexual experience with someone who's history I don't know. About 4 days later I had a general flu-ish feeling, and was diagnosed with Chlamydia (which as I understand can produce those symptoms). A month and a half later I got a rash on my left inner thigh, it itched but no pain. I had 2 doctors look at it and they both said it looked fungal and I put anti-fungal cream on it and eventually it went away...I didn't get the anti-fungal cream until about three weeks after I noticed the rash.
About 2 and a half months later, in the same spot on my left thigh I notice a tiny red patch about the size of a pea, it doesn't itch and has no pain associated with it. I'm concerned that this could be herpes. What do you think?
Also, I spend a lot of time at the gym and get athletes foot chronically.

Thanks for your response, I looked into getting a specific test... it costs $130 where I live, which isn't really do able right now. I'm just going to monitor it for now... the red spot is so small I doubt a doctor would even think it was anything... and there's no irritation with it. I'm probably just being paranoid... i'll keep an eye on it though, and once I have the available funds I'll probably go for a test, just to ease my mind.

this doesn't sound like herpes going on.

why not just gt a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your status is for peace of mind?

see your doctor or a dermatologist for this rash. it still sounds fungal though it could be something else.
