Discharge? Or Leakage?

I am wondering how to tell if you have an abnormal penile discharge (such as one from chlamydia or gonorrhea) or if it is just urine???

I smelled my underwear after I noticed this discharge, and it smells fishy. But this could just be smegma...

Update on my situation...I went to the clinic today and the doctor said he thinks I may have urethritis....this would explain the swelling around my urethra. I am on antibiotics right now for the treatment of strep throat, so he cannot give me any other medication to treat the urethritis as of now until I am done with the antibiotics. It feels good to finally find some relief tho...if that is what is really causing this. My question is this however; can urethritis also cause my testicles to itch very badly??

You would have to find out by calling them...different states different tests.

If it comes out negative then I see no reason not to.

One thing just came to mind that you may not have been tested for. That is trichomonas. It is an std that usually does not show symptoms in men. If that does not work, you probably should  consult with a urologist.

Also, upon reading about your stool problems in more detail, you may need to explore the possibility of parasites like pin worms or tapeworm. They of course are not std's. But again the last std possibility is trichomonas. Other than that I hope you can move past your std anxiety quickly. Good luck.

Discharge is thicker then normal urine, normally leaves a odd color stain onthe underwear and is normally, white, yellow or green in color. But other discharge from a yeast infection or prostate infection can also have those symptoms.
