Do I have an STD?

I'm unsure if my symptoms are that of an std that resembles genital warts or another std or if it is completely benign. about a week to a week and a half ago I developed two abnormalities on the surface of my skin. One just on the inside of my lower lip, and the other is about mid-way on the shaft of my penis. They are both very small and very closely resemble a white head. however they have not disappeared yet. The lower one is small, white and somewhat harder than the surrounding skin and does not produce much fluid or puss if any, it merely bleeds if punctured (like it is part of the skin such as a skin tag) and cannot be 'popped' like a white head. the one on my lip is somewhat clear and is about the same size (not sure if they are related, but cropped up about the same time frame). It is very hard to pop and I did ***** it open to see what was in it and it only let out a small amount of clear fluid. Both 'sores' regenerate within about 24 hours in the same place to a raised, hard state after releaved or punctured. in about 2 weeks I have not developed any other symptoms and no other sores have been present previously. current sores do not get worse and do not go away. there is only 1 MAYBE 2 instances I can think of where I could have even remotely been exposed to an infection. both were due to protected sex but a broken condom and with someone I'm not in contact with anymore. Last contact was about a year ago and all successive partners I'm 99% sure they are clean. (can't be 100% ever).

Other than the sores (which do not itch, irritate or have any other symptoms other than being raised bumps with a harder texture) I have been a very healthy, 22 year old male.

I'm somewhat nervous about going to see a doctor unless other evidence of an std presents itself. does anyone have a medical recommendation of something I can try to get rid of the bumps? Does what I have described have the possibility of being a symptom of an std? or am I just a paranoid young guy with a normal skin problem or bacterial infection? Should I wait to see a doctor and see if the symptoms worsen or are there home remedies that could eliminate the problem if it is anything other than an incurable infection?

In the mean time is transmission a reality either sexually or orally?

I am a 24yo male and have had similar symptoms on my penis. I would recommend going to the doctor as it is better to be safe than sorry.

I was told it was benign after the doctor dabbed my penis with a vinegar solution. I was told if the bumps turn white, they were genital warts, if not, it was nothing to be concerned about. They did not turn white.

Again, I am not a doctor... I am just repeating what I was told. There is no substitute for getting a professional look at it.

Best of luck!
