Dry bumps around vaginal area

I am sexually active and have protected sex, but I have gotten some bumps around my vaginal area while I was on my period around where my pads touch my very inner thigh. Could this be due to friction of the wings? The bumps don't seem to have any puss, but my skin around that area has become red and dry. Or could this be an STD of some sort?

iim 17 and ii have the same thiing as ( irlyneedhelp ) um me and my boyfriend are sexsually active andd do not use a condom but ii have the same thing on the side of my vagina i also have it right near my bum crak on either sides and my boyfriend just recently got to like bumps that were pimples but now sores on his doddle ii really need help to iim scared for his safety and miine! <3

I'm in my mid 20's and my sexual partner and I had sex 6 days ago. I hate to sound graphic but he use other methods such as masturbation to satisfy me. With in the next couple of days, I've notices red painful bumps or irriation near and on my vaginal area. I'm very concerned that this could be something serious. I've never seen anything like it before. I've experienced pubic hair bumps from pulling the hair and shaving but I'm not sure what's going on with me.

It sounds like friction or irritation, but you should get it checked out to be sure its not fungal (think yeast) that needs treatment.
