Fever, sore throat, swollen tonsils and body aches

Hello,

One week back I went to a bar from where I came home with a girl I met there. She was a manager in some company and then we had sex. She was too excited and she was on me. When she got down I saw that condom had slipped and it was not there. I dont even think we had a proper penetration but mostly I got a feeling that my penis was just rubbing and that is the reason I think my condom slipped. I am 27 years old and she might be around 35.

Since yesterday I am having swollen tonsils, fever, body aches and today sore throat (sore on the back side of my chicks). I am taking medicines but there is still some pain. I am afraid if I caught HIV. She did not look like someone ill but in HIV people dont look ill so I am very afraid.

Any suggestions please

Hi

I am having worst tonsils and sore pain.....even the antibiotics are not helping much...........I am doing hot salt water gargles too....but seems like nothing is helping.............

Does HIV exposure give so much of pain?

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

But I dont have any outbreak of herpes. I know we did not have proper penetration but not sue if had enough to get any disease. Also is this anywhere close to HIV? I am not too afraid of other STDs as with proper medication, it can be controlled but with HIV I am very afraid.

So even if I do tests now, I wont find anything in HIV....right? Do you think I should get tested after 3 months for HIV? Is there a probability of that. I am in touch with the girl and she doesn't look like someone who would take any risks. I asked her again and she said she does not have any disease.

Hi, the only symptoms you mention for any std would be herpes as would be a fever and body aches but since your also have a sore throat also i would think its more cold related. How can you not know if you had penetrative sex with her? If  your worried about HIV then test in 3 months but since all is so iffy i would not be a be deal over this.
