Genital warts

I've been getting weird bumps around my pupic area, at first i thought that maybe it was razor burn its been getting progressively worse, redder, and has the bumps have grown in volume.  Possible because I've continued shaving?. I finally went to a doctor who looked at it and told me I have genital warts.  However all my tests came back negative.  I got tested for everything to HPV to HIV to Herpes, it was full panel test.  Someone told me it could possible be Molluscum Contagiosum?  Any thoughts? And whats the best way to get rid of this? My doctor gave my Imiquimod Cream but it seems to be making it worse
Thanks.

are you in the US?

a + hpv blood test doesn't mean that these are genital warts. The hpv blood tests we currently have aren't of much use outside of research since they aren't type specific and can't tell the difference between hpv on your foot, hand, mouth or genital area. They aren't generally used because of the drawbacks with them.

see a dermatologist for further diagnosis and treatment.

HPV was tested via blood.  Who would I go to get a biopsy done? Could a dermatologist do it? I was thinking of cryotherapy to get rid of them.

how did you test for HPV, did you have a biopsy of one of the bumps? because there is no other testing then that. Molluscum is extremely noticable and distinguished but a puss fill bump with a dimple in the middle if you want a second opinion you should see a dermatologist. but your doctor will know better then this forum as they are seeing you inperson
