Groin rash, vertigo and ringing of the ears (tinitus).
I am 57 and my wife and I are very healthy, eat well and very clean. My wife and I had an overly rough session of anal sex. About a week later, upon ejaculation during regular intercourse, everything immediately started spining and I became very sic. I vomited for approximately 24 hours and couldn't keep anything down, not even a sip of water. That ended in a day or two and I have been eating normally since, but the dizzyness or "vertigo" and ringing in the ears has never left. It's been over three weeks now. At the same time (also associated with this) I got a bad smelling, wet rash in the left crotch area with a couple of warts. (I'm assuming HPV ??) I immediatly attached the rash with household bacterial disinfectant wipes and started alternating lotrimin and zivorax cream. Three weeks later the red rash and warts are gone and the skin is returning to normal, but the ringing in the ears, dizzyness and vertigo have never left. I feel like I'm drunk but haven't had anything to drink. Can anyone assist? I took 9 days of Amoxicillin but wondered if I need a different antibiotic for some kind of bacterial infection? We have no money and can't afford to see Dr's. I have been unemployed twice in the past year and am borrowing money to pay rent and keep utilities on.

Thanks for asking. The odd thing about all of this is that the wife is fine. At first we thought I had food poisening or a double dose of blood pressure meds, but the pharmacist said that wouldn't do it. He also suggested a bacterial infection of some kind. The wife & I mostly eat the same, so we ruled that out, but I have been to a couple of Chamber mixers without her. She's OK, thanks. Another symptom that is just now appearing is mucus in the throat. Deffinately some kind of bug. The rash is gone but the goin still sweats and has an odd oder. Still hitting it with lotrimin and it continues to return to normal. I've wondered if you can get an infection in your scrotom or testicals. Hey, just an idea. This all hit me on ejaculation! ???
it's not likely you developed warts from a regular partner and then they were gone in a few weeks.
I would assume your vertigo is completely unrelated to the crotch issues. no reason to think you contracted a bacterial infection in your genital area that is causing vertigo. since you've had these symptoms for 3 weeks, time to be seen. call your local health department to see what your local low cost/no cost options are for health care. These symptoms can be signs of viral infections or even serious health problems, especially as we get older.
NEVER use household disinfectant wipes on your genital skin!! you can cause lasting damage to the skin by doing so. they specifically say on the bottle not to use them on your skin as a wipe!
why were you using zovirax ointment on your genital area?

Age 51 , no meds no just herpes 1 , was rubbing penis on anus. Rash went away with OTC cream took like 3 weeks. I'm still not feeling well pain in arms legs like Muscel pain.had red rash on sides of neck for like 10 weeks.
No twitching muscles or pimples. I have some specific questions for you. Please answer them all. How old are you? How do you think you got the rash and how did you get rid of it? Have you had a vasectomy and if so how long ago? Don't mean to invade but before the rash did you have anal sex? Any nasua or vomiting before or after the rash (were you physically sic)? Have you taken any anti-biotics for the rash or any possible internal infections? Do you have herpes and if so are they occasional mild or more often severe? Do you take any blood pressure or cholesteral medications? If so which ones? Sorry about all the questions but its important to me. I'm just working on my own theories about this rash and sicness and your answers will help. I'm assuming it's bacteria related and hope that someone with more knowledge jumps in here.
Hey I had that groin rash , pimples on my head arms . Light head and after 8 weeks ringing ears to this day 20 weeks later. HIV neg at the 7 week mark. Do you get twitching muscles too?
Thanks. I never said vertigo was an STD. HPV is. The vertigo is only one SYMPTOM of whatever the infection is, as is the rash in the groin. They both came at the same time and I'm assuming it's bacterial.

Sorry to hear about your financial crisis. Vertigo is not a symptom of STDs. Rather probably an massive ear infection or something going on with neruonal or nervous systems.
