HIV EXPOSURE

Hi All

I shaved my penis ,and about 3 hours later i had unrpotected oral sex from a sex worker she was HIV+ and had her tooth removed and i think her gums where still bleeding, but she told me she had a gauze to cover where the tooth was removed, what are the chances of me getting HIV or any STD's.

oral sex is not a risk for HIV you were not at risk, now any follow up questions should be posted in the HIV forum.

If there were any cuts, nicks, or grazes where you shaved your penis then it is possible that you could have picked up an HIV infection.  The gauze where she had her tooth removed won't make any difference at all, that's not enough to prevent blood moving.

The chances are small, but there's a definite chance, and I'd advise getting tested.  I think the infection does not show up in your blood immediately after the incident, so I think the test has to take place some time after, I can't remember how long you have to wait.
