Yeah I wouldn't rely solely on a vinegar test..
Should ask PP if they think a swab test of your area to see if it is indeed HPV (biopsy). This would be a more reliable method if the doctors are not able to diagnose it visually.
Most of these swab tests can check for at least 23 different types of HPV, though it can have some false positive, it is a lot more reliable than the acetic or vinegar tests.
If you had a recent encounter, HPV does not show symptoms immediately. It usually takes almost 3 months before HPV symptoms may start showing up.

No, my doctor instructed me to go to Planned Parenthood, because they are more knowledgable about dealing with the differnt strains of HPV then he is. The only test I recived was the white vinegar test, and I was only given that, after my 3rd visit to Planned Parenthood.
From what I believe,
White vinegar and acetic acid tests tend to have more false positives than false negatives cause they can cause reactions with other skin processes that are not HPV caused.
You can tell if its a wart easily by looking at the spots surrounding. If your natural skin texture ends where the bump begins, and the bump has its own individual texture different from rest of our body, it is a wart.
Fordyce spots are small circular spots that can occur almost anywhere on your penis. They may sometimes have a white tip at the top of the dot.
Have you taken a HPV swab test from the supposed area?
