How long before Azithromycin cures me?

I went to the doctor 5 days ago.   He said what I have is either Gonnorea, Chlamydia, or "Non-specific" and he gave me 1g of azithromycin to be taken all at once.

It's been 5 days and I still can sometimes squeeze our clear liquid out of my penis(even hours after peeing, so it's not that).  My pee hole is still a bit sensitive....  The pharmacist says the drug will stay in my system for a week, which would be 2 days from now and I still have symptoms...........

Is this normal?  Should I go back to the doctor?

Thanks so much!

Stop squeezing.  It could be that you keep irritating it and slowing down the healing process.  Make sure to drink lots of water so you can flush any remaining bacteria out.  It is not uncommon to have symptoms for a couple of weeks after treatment.  Be patient. If it continues (without squeezing), then follow up with your doctor.

He should have tested you.  And azithromycin is not usually the drug of choice to treat gonorrhea.
