IGM negative, IGG negative type 2, pos type 1

I have symptoms of tingling, burning in the thigh area after a possible recent exposure, A mild skin irritation/redness comes and goes sometimes on the butt or groin area. I had a Igm and a Igg test 9 days after possible exposure. The Igg came back negative for type 2 but positive for type 1. The Igm came back negative for a recent exposure. It's been almost 2 months and I still have the same symptoms. Any suggestions? How accurate is a negative Igm 9 days after possible exposure?

I got tested for herpes 1 & 2. Here are my results:

HSV 1
igM - POSITIVE
igG - WEAKLY POSITIVE

HSV 2
igM - POSITIVE
igG - WEAKLY POSITIVE

There were no figures. Just these.

Then I did a test with another lab and my results showed that igG for HSV 1 was 1.75 and the igG for HSV 2 was 2.4.

Does this mean that I have recenty acquired the herpes infection?

The IgM is not accurate at all, at any time.

Your hsv1 is a previous infection.  You wouldn't test positive at 9 days.

Herpes symptoms wouldn't last 2 months.  At most, it would be a few weeks.  What other tests, etc., is your doctor doing to find out what's going on?
