It is NGU remining or resistant?

I wanted to know soon please! I am 31 years old, heterosexual male.

June 9  I had sex with a  Swedish girl (girl A). I had un-protected oral sex followed by protected vaginal and oral sex, and finally un-protected oral sex.  Unfortunately the condom broke once and I changed it as soon I realized it.

June 13-15 I had un-protected oral and vaginal sex with my 5 years girlfriend, who actually was in her period.

June 16 I had sex again with the girl A, exactly the same way we did it the June 9.  This time the sex was harder and longer.

June 25 I start to had itching in the top of my penis and in along the whole urethra followed the next few days by burning at the penis tip when urinating.

June 30 I start to have white discharge.  I went to a general doctor and they took a swab from inside of my penis and a urine sample for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia sample and prescribed me sulfamethoxazole  2 per day during one week in case it was just an UTI.

July 2 Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and results negatives, also they checked for tricomonas on the microscope and it was negative as well.  They gave me a shoot of rocephine.

July 5 discharge continues, I went to another hospital.  They didn’t tested for anything but they diagnosed me with an urethritis and prescribed me doxycycline 100 mg twice per day for 2 weeks.  After the first dose of doxycycline the discharge stopped, but the itching feeling in the urethra continues for a few more days.

July 12 I masturbated my self and I realized that after ejaculation, some seminal fluid drops  (clear color), still coming out from my penis for about 10 minutes. No pain, not burning.

July 19 I finished doxycycline.

July 19-25 I had a light pain in my testicles, my scrotum was swollen inside (I felt like a had worms inside at the top of the testicle). I took iboprufem and it helps a little.  I had as well like a discharge feeling or like some pee was coming out from the urethra close to the tip of the penis, but nothing was coming.  Every time after I pee some urine drops still coming out from my penis tip. And one day I felt like my bladder was full of urine, but it wasn’t.   I have been drinking water constantly.

July 26-27 I went to the beach and I spend a long time in the ocean (salt water), and after that, the weird feeling of fluid coming from the urethra at the tip of my penis went away (I guess the antiseptic properties of the salt water).

July 28-31 I exercised (skating during very hot days).  I develop a kind of rash in my scrotum, it was kind of red and some red and flat dots in the scrotum.  And sometimes a burning and hot feeling in the skin of the scrotum and penis.  I used hydrocortizona and it helped just a bit.  For three days I experienced nausea when just waking up in the morning.

August 2 I many beers and next day I start to had this discharge and urine feeling inside the urethra close to the tip of my penis again, but again nothing were coming.  Frequently peeing.

August 4 This feeling is getting a bit better again. However I had testicle pain and scrotum swollen again and a random feeling in my urethra like a needle at the tip.  I masturbated my self again, and when I was ejaculation I had the same feeling in the urethra at the tip of my penis.  Frequently peeing.

I talk to girl A, and she told me that in November 2006 she had a sex with a swedish guy and one month later she developed one bump under the skin (it look like a red pimple) outside from the vagina that smell bad, and burning when peeing.  She had all the STDs test (except for viral), and all of them came back negatives.  The STDs couldn’t tell her what it was, she was prescribed with doxycyclina and flagyl for, for 7 and 10 days and everything went away. One month ago she visited the doctor again and tested for chlamydid, gonorrhea, mycoplasma, syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B and C and all of them came negatives.  However the doctor took a look in the microscope from a swab from the vagina and said that something like chlamydia was observed, but it was not chlamydia.  Probably girl A is hiding something to me???

I have never had prostatitis problems or UTI.

I haven’t seen my girlfriend since last time we had sex (June 13-15), but we will meet each other again in one week and spend 4 days together.  She has not presented any symptoms at all, but the last two days she had nausea during the day.  I have to tell you that my girlfriend was infected many years ago with genital HSV when she was receiving oral sex (maybe it is HSV 1), and last time she had bumps was like 4 years ago. I haven’t had any kind of genital HSV symptoms.  I have HSV 1 in my lips since many years ago.  I have few question and I think you can help me, I haven’t  been calm since all this begun almost 1.5 month ago.  I haven’t tell anything to my girlfriend about this I am very afraid of loosing her, I feel very stupid for what I did with this girl A.

1- I guess my girlfriend should take the doxicycline as I did right? Can we have sex? And if we have sex should we use condom I guess? What about giving and receiving oral sex from each other? Or it is better not to have sex at all?
2- Does my girlfriend nausea can be a symptom from an std infection like urethritis?
3- Do you think that I have a recurrent NGU or some infection is remaining? Or it is normal to have all these feelings during two weeks and more after this kind of infection?
4- Should I visit an urologist or STDs specialist? or both?
5- Which other STD can it be?

Please doctor if you have further comments, I really appreciate it, I am not in my homecountry since all this is happenin so I don’t know what to do and where to go.  In two weeks I am going back home and the first think I am going to do is visit a specialist.

Best regards

Prostatitis can cause symptoms in your urethra.  If you want to think its an std, that's your call, but you need to be seen regardless.  You have taken more than enough meds to cure any bacterial std that could cause these symptoms.

Hello!

Thank you for your quick response.

I am sure what I have it is a STD, since I had before itching in my urethra, burning when peeing and white discharges.  They stopped about 3 weeks ago but I still have this weird feeling like discharge or pee in the urethra close to the tip of my penis, but never comes something.   And rash and scrotum swollen.

At the same time, I never had prostatitis or UTI before until now.  I just hope this feelings are normal after a such treatment and such infection.  Or do you think that prostatitis can develop from a urethritis?

So I still wonder….

I appreciate your advise

Hi there -

This isn't the doctor's forum, but I can try and help.

1- I guess my girlfriend should take the doxicycline as I did right? Can we have sex? And if we have sex should we use condom I guess? What about giving and receiving oral sex from each other? Or it is better not to have sex at all?

If you have symptoms, you shouldn't be having sex.

2- Does my girlfriend nausea can be a symptom from an std infection like urethritis?

No, probably not.

3- Do you think that I have a recurrent NGU or some infection is remaining? Or it is normal to have all these feelings during two weeks and more after this kind of infection?

I wonder if you have a prostate infection.

4- Should I visit an urologist or STDs specialist? or both?

If you can get into a urologist soon, I would start there.  You have some classic symptoms of prostatitis, and a urologist would be the best place to start.

5- Which other STD can it be?

I can't imagine it being an std.  You have had a bunch of meds, and that would have cured any stds you might have.
