Itching and burning sensation inside the penis

Hi, I had unprotected oral sex and protected sex with 3 partners. I had unprotected oral sex 1 months ago and after one week of unprotected oral sex. I felt itching and burning sensation inside my penis. I immideately rushed to the doctor. doctor suggested urinalysis and VDRL test. VDRL test was negative however urinalysis was not. There were 11 WBC and +1 Leucocytes Esterases.  Doctor suspected UTI and gave antibiotic after three days everything came to normal and i had antibiotic 1000mg for one week. I had HIV test also it was also negative. I had protected sex again one week ago. After having sex I realised the same itching and burning sensation inside the penis.

Is this a STD ? may it cause infertility ?

Hi

my treatment got over three days back . I took all the medicines on time. on that day i felt some sort of itching again. only once a day. It seems, when my bladder is full of urine I feel itching on the top of the tube . After passing urine it does not irretate or there is no itching. What it could be ? shall I obeserve it for some day before going for another urinalysis  and doctor?

Is there any natural way to get rid out of this itching? like yoghurt or any liquid. I am avoiding beer also these days. Please advice..

I don't know why I wrote that syphilis is not transmitted by oral sex, it is, but this is rare. You clearly don't have any symptoms of this and don't have it but I thought it was important to clarify!

If you are being treated for an STD we would always say no sex at all for one week following treatment at which point you should be fine. In your case I think it is probably just a UTI anyway and so you can resume sexual activity whenevr you feel ready to do so based on whther it hurts or not!

Thanks very much for your kind words it's great to know people are benefiting from the advice. Take care.

I really appriciate your replies. I was very tense and started smoking a lot and spent many sleepless nights. your advice gave me some sigh of relief thanks a lot. May GOD bless you and hope you become a famous doctor. Take care !

Based on that exposure I think your doctor probably was overkilling on the STD front but yes you should be fine, with that combo you can expect to clear virtually any UTI. No other tests are necessary based on the exposure you describe, HIV and Syphillis are not transmitted by this route. Take care

Thanks for your reply I really appreciate. Doctor gave me 5 days treatment.
first day I intake 5 tablets

2 CEFIXIME TERGECEF 200 mg each + 1 FLUCONAZOLE DIFLUCAN 200 mg each + 2 AZITHROMYCIN DIHYDRATE 500 mg each

for next 4 days 1 FLUCONAZOLE DIFLUCAN 200 mg every day. This is my third day and I am feeling better.

Is this treatment sufficient to cure this decease? What all STD tests should i take ?

Also I want to ask, I had unprotected oral sex though I did not ejaculate inside her mouth, after having unprotected oral sex I tested my self for HIV test after three weeks. The test was negative. Should i go again for the HIV test? If yes then when should i go for the test ? what are the chances of getting HIV through oral sex when you do not ejaculate inside the mouth and there is no cut mark on the head of the penis?

It depends on the STI, reaised white cell count in the urine is indicative of gonorrhoea or chlamydia. Gonorrhoea is treated with a single injection into the muscle of 250mg of ceftriaxone or 400mg of cefixime taken orally. Chlamydia is treated by 1g of azithromycin taken as a single dose or 100mg of doxycyline taken for 7 days. Both are totally curable and should leave you as if you were never infected. It won't reoccur so long as you don't have unprotected sex with people who are infected in which case you definately will get infected again. When you've finished the treatemtn, wait 2 weeks and then go back and get another STD test to ensure the infection is cleared before you have unprotected sex with anyone. Good luck

Thanks for replying. I again went to the doctor and he suggested another urinalysis. Urinalysis was not normal this time though it came back to normal before. This time there 5 WBC and TRACE Leucocytes Esterases. doctor reffered my case to infectuos decease specialist. He has given me a lot of antiiotic and suspecting one of the STD. I am having these antibiotic from past three days. I can feel the improvement but still twice or thrice in a day i can sense the same itching again but less. I had a abnormal discharge also.
If I have a STD then How long it should be treated? What all test should i take to make sure that there is nothing left ? Is totally curable ? May it again reoccur ?

Certainly a burning sensation in the urethra can be indicative of an STD notably chlamydia and gonorrhoea tend to present like this. You would normally experience this sensation magnified when you are urinating. Have you noticed any kind of abnormal discharge from the tip of your penis? Gonorrhoea and chlamydia are unlikely to cause infertility in men but can lead to many other serious health concerns if the infection is allowed to persist. For women the risk is much higfher and you really need to get tested again to ensure you don't pass it on to anyone else. good luck
