Lump / bump on right tonsil

Hello,

i have given oral to a guy and for the following days my throat was feeling weird.
4 weeks after the event, i went to the doctor and had an oral exam for gonorhea and chlamydia; i received negative results. My throat was still feeling weird though.

Now i have noticed a small lump which formed over my right tonsil (left in the photo) which can be clearly seen here: http://tinypic.com/r/ddjolg/9

Any advise? should it be removed? it permanently feels disturbing. The doctor prescribed ibuprofen but it doesn't seem to work.
