Odd Bumps on Penis

This time last year I got married, Funny enough on our way home we found a frog and I picked it up and was teasing my wife, About 3 weeks later I noticed I had a wart on my hand and and about 5 weeks later I noticed some bumps on the underside of my penis, there were about 2 or 3 bumps combined and looked like the normal wart you would see on your hand, I didnt really think to much of it until the next few days when they got relatively larger ,I was scene by a Dr who said it was not hiv or hpv, at this point the only thing I could think of is that the wart on my hand spread to my penis, But the Dr said that was not possible due to it being a different stand of the virus, The Dr said to just leave it alone because they were to small to worry about, easy enough for him to say, he is not the one with some funky bumps in a place where they should not be. At this point I was pretty disgusted so I broke the rules and used the same wart remover for my hand on my groin, and after about 3 days they were GONE! I was very happy and thought it was just a spoof. About 5 weeks later the same bumps started to come back, but this time there was more, I started to notice dark bumps on the top side of my shaft ( kinda like shells of skin you could scratch them off and it was like a ball cut in half) and skin tags along my scrotum, I went back to the Dr, he ran some more test and the same thing, NO hiv or hpv, So at this point I am very frustrated and just want these bumps to go away if someone could please give me some advice on what to do I would REALLY appreciate it

there are blood tests for hpv but they are of limited use outside of research and I'm not even sure any of them have fda approval for commercial use even.

It was purely odd timing that you would get a wart on your hand and what might be gential warts at the same time. Your doc told you correctly that the strains that cause gential hpv's are not the same as those that cause hand warts.

I agree with Grace, stop self treating. Unless your doc did a biopsy of your bumps he didn't test you for HPV because there is not testing for men.

You need to see a dermatologist to find out what your bumps are and treat them properly.

It is one hell of a tale cause I swear I never had anything before that, And the test consisted of blood work from what he told me.

it's an old wives tale that you get warts from frogs dear...lol.

whatever is going on genitally is not related to the frog.

No idea why your provider is testing you for hiv. we don't have commercially available hpv tests for males either so I"m not sure what testing is being done for hpv.

sounds like it's time for a trip to the dermatologist since your regular provider is stumped.

do not continue to use otc wart treatment on your genitals. it can cause scarring and complications!
