On and off burning

Hi, I'm a 35 year old male who received unprotected oral for about 2 mins from a girl I met . A couple days later I had a little discharge of clear. Went to see a doctor and they prescribed azythromicin and took tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Both came back negative but I still had small discharge a week later with burning in my penis throughout the day. Regular doctor the prescribed cipro but it diddnt help with the burning although the discharge is gone. Doesn't really burn when I pee. I feel the need to pee a lot but not a lot comes out. Went to see a urologist who said I had an inflamed prostate and prescribed deoxycycline hyclate for a week but after day 4, I see no improvement. Is this really symptoms of an inflamed prostate? How can this burning penis head feeling come and go throughout the day? How long does it take to see improvement? And am I gonna be like this forever? Is this curable? can I pass anything to my girlfriend from this? Doc says I should not abstain from sex but I'm still worried because I can't find anything from anyone who has this issue.

at this point I'd do something as simple as buy a corn starch based body powder ( unscented ) and sprinkle it on your genital area at least daily before getting dressed. it will help with irritation, absorb excess moisture and help soothe any irritated skin.

Ok. Thank you for being very patient with me. Do you recommend anything for this?

you need to give this more time yet. if it's not better in a month, return to be seen again.

you could be starting to have a fungal infection from the antibiotic use.

Also, now there seems to be an irritation on the side of the penis. Could this be from the antibiotics?

So, after a week of this antibiotic I see no difference. I still have major burning at the penis head and still am peeing too frequently. I am worried sick that this could be something else. Is this antibiotic the right one for what I'm feeling. I'm stressing because there are so many comments stating that there is no relieve from this and none about success!

these usually clear up in a few weeks with treatment.

Is the prognosis for this good by using antibiotics?

http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/785418-overview  terrific article on prostate infections. it's free to sign up to read articles there.

it can take weeks until this clears up unfortunately. if it's not better in 3 weeks, return to the urologist again.

can you still have sex? yes you can since usually these infections aren't contagious to a female partner. If you are concerned, just have protected sex with your partner.
