Oral Sex - Informattion for Men

Okay ever since I've been sexually active, I've been practicing oral sex i've been using protection, but females I usually practice with do not like the taste of rubber and especially lube. It's a turn off for them and they lose their mood.

Now there's soooo much information about getting infected with STD's for females for oral, for example, if they have cuts in gums etc.. they can get infected if our infected semen enters it. But there's so little information about Men's health about this topic, and it's so uncleared.

So how likely are us men getting a STD by getting an oral without protection? And is it curable/treatable? And what exactly can we catch? I asked few of my friends and colleagues and they just laugh at the idea of covering during oral. Also I don't even french kiss the girls unless I know them really really well. This is frustrating. I know there's a chance, but how likely is it? Because during intercourse I always use full protection because it makes sense, but if the girl is infected and gives me unprotected oral what are the chances of her infecting me via oral only?

I need answer from experinced people who have been with many women and know about what I'm asking for. Or possibly a licensed MD doctor.

Thanks!

I'm not sure about HIV by oral sex,(there is some controversy)
But here are the STD by oral sex
1.Herpes virus 1 and 2 ( no cure) Some consider Virus 1(cold sore) not STD even you get infected in childhood by being kissed
2.HPV ( not even test avaible for men and no cure)
3.Gonorrhea.
4.Chlamydia.
5.Syphilis.
6.Hepatitis B (no cure).
Treatments are there for above said disease
