Oral sex and kissing, tonsillitis the next day!

I made a dumb mistake last Friday.  I had sex with two escorts together.  We just condoms for viginal sex, but all the oral was unprotected.  The very next day, my tonsils got swollen and started producing those while tonsil stones.  I was also achy everywhere.  After a couple of days, I started feeling better, but the body aches still lingered, my tonsils were still swollen.  Even today, 5 days afterwards, it's the same.  And some of my lymph nodes around my neck feels swollen.  I've been reading on the Internet and it doesn't match early HIV signs.  Most HIV infection show early symptoms about a month later.  But that doesn't mean I don't have HIV.  It just means my symptoms might be caused by something else.  Now I feel very regretful about my little adventure, of course.  Any advice about what it could be?

You will however, get some nast flu/cold infection, and/or step throat.

My doctor did a culture on the throat and confirmed it was strep throat.  What a relief!  :)
