Penile Pain and Discharge, Please Read, What Can This Be?
Hey.. for the past month I've been having some trouble. It started on July 18th, it started out as a stinging-like pain in my penis but the pain was minor. It didn't last long at first and the pain wasn't that bad so I didn't think much of it. Though as days went by, the pain got worse. A week in and I started having this discharge under my foreskin, it was white and chunky and looked like smegma but with clear liquid, it came out after urination. I believe I have phimosis, I'm not able to retract the skin, so I was thinking smegma might have built up and caused an infection. I'm only 17 years old and I've never had sex with anyone so I know for a fact that this can't be an STD. I've never been able to retract the foreskin fully, only a little bit. I was too scared to go to the doctors or tell anybody when I was younger in fear of getting circumcised. So basically, the discharge looks like smegma except it was basically draining from my penis as if some kind of self cleaning cycle. It's happened a few times now, though hasn't happened recently. Even though I haven't got the white chunky discharge in a little while, I've been in pain. The pain has gotten worse from when it first started. I'll get burning and itching pains and then sometimes stabbing pains. The pain doesn't last for a long time but it does come out of nowhere and it is frightening. I'll also get this weird cold kind of like burning sensation, then I'll get a hot/ warm sensation in my penis and abdomen. Also, the tip will sometimes burn, especially after urination, not during urination though. It burns a few seconds after I pee. Another thing is, after I pee, some urine seems trapped and will kind of hurt and small drops will come out minutes later, kind of like a discharge. My foreskin and urethra definitely feel irritated. My foreskin will sometimes feel all tight, but soft and my penis will feel harder than usual, even when in flaccid, but it will also feel softer than usual. My foreskin will feel all itchy inside with pain. These symptoms have made me go to a doctor. It was hard going to a doctor because these types of things are hard to talk about. I went in and he basically misdiagnosed me with a yeast infection. He prescribed me a dosage of Fluconazole, he told me to take one tablet by mouth for 14 days, time has passed, I took it all, and no relief at all. Afterwards I went back and told him the medication didn't work so I'll be going to a urologist soon. I'm scared and don't know what to think to be honest. Is this a serious infection or could it be cancer? I know penile cancer is rare, but still possible. The doctors told me it could be balantitis but I don't have any redness or swelling, my foreskin is just itchy and hurts along with my penis, both on the inside and outside. I don't know what this could be but I guess I'll figure it out. I hope that I get cured and it all gets better because this has made my summer really stressful. Can someone maybe respond to me and maybe comfort me before I see an urologist? I'm terrified and would appreciate it. Does anyone know what this could be? If you have any ideas or know what could be wrong, please, I beg you to respond
I went to a urologist and she just prescribed me with an ointment for my tight foreskin. I still have painful sensations and my penis is often sore though I wasn't prescribed anything for an infection even though I believe I have one. She just told me the problems I was having was due to having phimosis but I think I also have an infection. It's not easy trying to retract your tight foreskin, especially with ointment on if it's sore/ in pain. Does anyone know how I'd treat this?
This is balantis, get over the counter cream like Lotrimin. What were you treated with? If you are not circumcised you might need to be if it is persistent. Keep the area dry as a desert including wiping up urine are urination and soak your penis in salt water for 10 min a day and dry

Thanks for the reply. The doctors I went to about two months ago said it was a yeast infection and prescribed me with Fluconazole and I took one a day for 14 days, saw no results nor felt any relief. In about a week I'm going to see an urologist. I don't know if this is balantitis because there aren't really any visual symptoms other than the discharge. Not red or flakey, though I feel a variety of pains every once in a while that can range from stabbing pains, aching, stinging, itching, burning. It also feels unusual, it feels a lot harder and kind of less sensitive in both erect or flaccid state. The foreskin sometimes feels really tight and looks a bit swollen sometimes. I'm not sure what this is yet but I hope I find out soon. I'm praying this isn't cancer or anything serious.
Today I've been experiencing penile numbness and discomfort in my abdomen, and it sometimes aches my lower abdomen when I pee. Do you think infections like balantitis and yeast infections could cause nerve damage or numbness while left untreated? This has been stressing me out all day

Hi what your describing certaining appears as a yeast infection and since youve never had sex you can rule out any std. Constant touching with dirty fingers could keep the infection coming back and pulling on your penis could cause and injury to your urethra. Basicly what a yeast infection is is when your skins Ph becomes off balance and normal flora grow out of control. Just follow up with your doctor and dont worry about cancer.

Thanks for the reply. Idk if it's a yeast infection because I took medication for it and it never worked. I went to the clinic and they referred me to an urologist but they called and said I had to be 18 which is bs because I seen an urologist at the age of 16. I went back to the clinic and they referred me for an appointment so that I can be referred to another urologist, it's a difficult and frustrating obstacle I've been going through. I have to wait till September 29 for my doctor appointment and idk if I can wait so long, it's killing me, I just want to feel normal again. The symptoms are still present. I feel like this is something serious and it scares me.
Do you think this could be something else?
