Pimple in pubic area

About 1 month ago I got a red bump in my pubic region. It felt tender and it had a white head on it much like a pimple. It also felt like there was a hard lump under the white head. I have sever acne on my face, chest and back with a lot of white heads so I thought maybe it was just a pimple. I popped it and yellow/whitish puss came out (much like the pimples I have) and it bled a bit. I cleaned it and it went away. A week later three of these pimple-like things showed up. They were exactly the same as the first one, big, red, and sore with white heads. They were there for a few days and they go to the point where they were really sore so I popped them to relieve the pressure. Again, whitish/yellow puss came out and they bled. They went away for about 1 month and now I have one again. It is very sore, I did pop it with the same results. I have not changed the type of soap i use, nor have I changed my laundry detergent for the washcloths I use. I do tend to sweat a bit, more so in the summer. Would this be a cause? Are they due to a STD or something like that? Or are they just pimples like I have in other areas of my body? Any information would be helpful.
Thanks

could be inflamed hair follicule, Sometimes when the hair tries to grow back they get stuck and cause pimple like bumps, many times this hapends to me, i shave and get these big boil type things on my body. This does not sound std related, i would go to the dermatologist and get them looked at.

I am sexually active but we use protection. I do get a lot of ingrown hairs in that area but these seem nothing like those. And there is no hair growing out of them. I figured out that the first one developed after I had a brazillian wax done when the hairs started to grow back in. I always go to the same place but the last time I went they used a different type of wax... could that be related somehow?

Could be inflamed hair follicles. This does not at all sound std related. Did you have a sexual exposure?
